I understand that everyone has the "right" to own a weapon but I have not yet seen, in the 26 years that I have been involved in crime prevention, anything "good" about having a gun in the home.Carmen Caldwell doesn't tell us how many violent crimes she's prevented, or what she's personally prepared to do if she witnesses one in progress--aside from dialing 911, assuming the attacker doesn't get to her first. I wonder if the fact that there's a funeral director on the executive board has anything to do with her idiotic assertions, or if "Citizen's Crime Watch" will assume a financial liability if anyone follows her ignorant advice and gets hurt or killed?

Obviously, this cretin has never read "American Rifleman" and the "Armed Citizen" reports inside, nor is she likely to do so.
It's no surprise that her attitude fits with the name of her club: "Citizens' Crime Watch". I think if she were the victim of an assault or break-in, watching is about the only she would do. Maybe cry, too.
She's just buttering us up. Get ready for a WHOLE LOT MORE of this in the coming months. The demonrats are in power, and they mean to exercise that (assumed, unconstitutional), power. To the fullest, and by the most perverse and subversive means possible.
i personally read every armed citizen report i can get my hands on.i think i'll photo copy ever one of the several thousand i have collected and send them to her...
You could do that, anon, but I suspect you'll be wasting your time and she won't even look at your evidence. That's the nature of these fanatics--they tune out anything that challenges their world view.
As she indicated, plenty of people wrote to her, but did she listen to a thing they said, or even consider that there might be anbother point of view? No, she went right into defensive put-down mode.
