Hey Andrew, Could You Tone Down the Whining?

I didn't believe it at first. I've always thought that he who shouts the loudest usually is trying to make up for his lack of a point.
Well, you're the one with the mass media forum allowing your voice to reach the most people, Andrew Heller, so I'd say that makes you the loudest. And yeah, your lack of a coherent point kind's makes your case for you, but probably not as you intended.

I wonder how he would feel if "we" decided to ban his "automatic assault quill" so he would only be able to write with a pencil?

I love it when the citizen disarmament crowd complains that the reason that their agenda isn't moving along as well as they would like is the fact that we rights advocates make ourselves heard. As if being engaged in the political process is a bad thing.

He complains that we're "ruled by the loudest"--meaning, one would guess, that he would prefer that we be ruled by the indifferent--the people who don't give enough of a damn about the issue to send an email, much less to lobby the public servants who claim to represent us.

The arrogant tone of his article was obvious along with his utter disdain for all gun owners. We're just a bunch of rednecks with a dangerous "hobby."

What this guy has not been told is that the same type of mass murder can be accomplished with a lot of different, "non-assault" weapons. That kid in Omaha could have inflicted the same type of damage with handguns, shotguns, and your run-of-the-mill bolt action rifle.

Andy sez "No one wants to snatch hunting rifles from the American hunter." That is until some kid on psychotropic doctor-prescribed drugs climbs a tower with one, then my hunting rifle will become a military sniper rifle that needs to be banned. A similarly drugged set of pathetic losers with swords, knives and a plan could make about as big a mess as that set of drugged pathetic losers did at Columbine using guns. (We'll not talk about the propane bombs that didn't go off.) It's the person, Andy you idiot, not the object he chooses. If take away the object you fear most, they'll just get another object.
