But Shvarts stood by her project, calling the University’s statement “ultimately inaccurate.”My head hurts. That happens when you deal with serial liars and a web of lies. This is bizarre, and this creature is a head case, so don't expect anything that, ultimately, isn't crazy.

Ms. Shvarts is engaged in performance art. Her art project includes visual representations, a press release and other narrative materials. She stated to three senior Yale University officials today, including two deans, that she did not impregnate herself and that she did not induce any miscarriages. The entire project is an art piece, a creative fiction designed to draw attention to the ambiguity surrounding form and function of a woman’s body.
She is an artist and has the right to express herself through performance art.
Had these acts been real, they would have violated basic ethical standards and raised serious mental and physical health concerns.
Ms. Klasky, that is hardly the statement of condemnation one would expect from someone who is not a moral relativist. Women have had abortions and suffered tremendous emotional pain as a result. Others have suffered miscarriages or stillbirths. And others are heartbroken that they can never have a child.
How can you not think she "violated basic ethical standards and raised serious mental...health concerns"? This was just plain wrong, and that you don't condemn it speaks volumes about the type of creatures "educating" society's elites.

Well he was right. Evil is. And it attends Yale.
Art major Aliza Shvarts '08 wants to make a statement.
Beginning next Tuesday, Shvarts will be displaying her senior art project, a documentation of a nine-month process during which she artificially inseminated herself "as often as possible" while periodically taking abortifacient drugs to induce miscarriages. Her exhibition will feature video recordings of these forced miscarriages as well as preserved collections of the blood from the process.
What an abomination this twisted, self-absorbed creature Shvarts is. Ditto for "art major Juan Castillo," advisor Pia Lindman, who "could not be reached for comment," all "donors" involved, and the administration at Yale that will host this obscenity at Green Hall, ironically on Chapel Street.
One other thing:

One could make the argument that the exhibit legally should be classified as hazardous medical waste, and without proper handling, storage and spill clean-up/disposal procedures, with training for affected staff and employees, it poses a danger to the public and to all involved.
I wonder if Yale's risk management department was consulted?
I know, none of this is gun-related, but these are the "liberal elites," and I was feeling kind of artistic this afternoon. And that's a statement I want to make.
I also want to note that this statement has nothing to do with the "safe and legal" abortion argument. I am personally morally against abortions but that is not the issue I feel called to marshal my energies behind--RKBA is.

So, Marjorie--for the record--has this event been approved by your office, and have all appropriate regulatory conditions been documented as compliant? Is your insurance carrier OK with it? How about the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection? EPA? OSHA?

Sounds like an accurate reflection of the current state of academia. The beauty of the First Amendment is that it encourages our enemies to reveal themselves - let the show go on at Hillary's alma mater.

This victim self-supplying murderer is just the sort to scream that we shouldn't have guns because we might kill living things, or worse, do so in self defense.
That's truly disgusting. Years from now, this girl will despise herself for what she has done.
If there is any justice in this universe, this despicable woman will have rendered herself permanently and irrevocably sterile, and children of all ages will avoid her like the plague.
My wife has Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, and the intense, abiding grief of her life is that she is unable to conceive a child. I can't even show this article to her. She would burst into tears, break things, and be distraught for a week.
I cannot understand this foulness.
While I do not feel that it is .gov's place to outlaw this, I think it is sick and wrong. In fact I think a lot less of Yale for supporting this. This is not art, it is abomination. The woman involved likely has some pretty serious mental problems and could use some help.

This is just plane old nasty and should be below the dignity of a major university to ever allow, support, or condone in way shape or form. It is for this very type of reason that I refuse to support or even recognize many of the schools of higher learning.
It seems as though many universities no longer teach an education but rather a perverse life style. It is no wander our youths are graduating with out knowledge of the real world, events, and life.
Before we looked to education as a means for betterment of our country, our life, and beliefs now it seems that education is nothing more then a vessel which houses the ill repute of society, passes people off as mirrors of a failing education system, and promotes and fosters corrupt government for our founding ideas. Maybe it’s time to close these schools of lowlife education down.

Gregg, as evil and repugnant as this is, I purposely avoided all issues except the ones we must all abide by--the hazardous materials angle.
Otherwise, I could paint a flower on a tube of anthrax and claim First Amendment protection...say, maybe do the same with a post-'86 M16 and tell BATFU they can't touch me...?
My whole point--the point behind "The Only Ones"--is that no segment of elites should have privileges and immunities forbidden to the rest of us.
Incidentally, WorldNetDaily liked that angle and have featured this post in their story--as they get 5 million visitors/40 million pageviews a month, that ought to make this a lot harder for Yale mucky mucks to ignore. Maybe even this will get the project--assuming it's not just a hoax to test public reaction as "art"--derailed for good.

My name is Ignoramus Deadbrainette, and I have been working on my latest art project, where I bludgeon neighborhood pets to death on a sheet and preserve the gore stains with acrylic! Isn't that awesome? And of course I'm just utilizing my 1st Amendment rights!
My previous project was to slowly whittle pieces from the unborn child in my own womb, while videotaping the procedure, and saving the gore as, well, art. Which was, of course, also protected under the 1st Amendment. So this little Ivy League tart hasn't started anything new.
Other art students have said that my previous project was beautiful, and I of course feel the warm glow of the typical infanticidal killer. But, you know, anything for art.
Oh, hell - where are my meds? Damn - if I could just get this uncomfortable straitjacket off me, and convince the doctors to let me out of my rubber room, I could finish my projects.
Why isn't Aliza here in the looney bin with me? We could share sick stories!
It's odd, though - it was the killing of the pets that got me committed - not the murder of my own child. How weird is that?

It's somewhat gratifying to see
the widespread outrage this sparked
more than offset of course by someone has actually claimed to do these things. (I'm not totally entirely surprised, given the publicity the "Bodies" exhibit has gotten here in NYC; fully on a par with the "Gun? Jail?" ad campaign.
