(Author's note: David has recently taken me to task, not without reason, for being too long winded. Therefore, I have written the mini-essay below just for War on Guns.)
"Tell me," I was once asked, "What do you think about gun control? Give me the short answer." To which I replied, "If you try to take our firearms we will kill you."
The End

Brilliant.
Nice.
Quit holding back, tell us what you really think.
And we won't feel bad about it. That time is past.
I'm a windy SOB too. Eleven words. Pretty good, huh?
If we really want the libs to understand, maybe it should have been in a haiku format.
In the spring, gun-grabbers come
I am happy to comply, but
You get the ammo first
Wow, David gets results!!!
Anon, you made my day. Copied your haiku and put it up next to the screen.Lord, make me light, swift, and accurate.
Thanks, bro...
Kaveman think that good.
Kaveman laugh.
Well said!
I feel compelled to quote the refrain from March of Cambreadth, by Heather Alexander.
Let not one damn cur pass by
How many of them can we make die!
Freedom flows through me
Try to take my guns and die
Gun Control makes slaves
Uncle Lar: Indeed.

Even better, interpretive dance.
Do not disbelieve,
If you try to take our guns,
We will not hold back.
Justice is for the just ones
Mercy is for the merciful
You are a bullet sponge.
So say we all.
Happiness is a rare gift,
Tragedy free for the asking.
Why add to the burden?
My Indian brothers say
It is a good day for dying.
If you agree, come on.
Cry "Come and take them,"
And let slip the dogs of war;
You can't enslave me.
Tyranny’s boot is upon our neck
My rifle sings its song of freedom
Spent cartridges and liberty’s foes,
Fall before me
WOW! Who knew the bitter and religious were so creative? Hell, besides knowing what Haiku IS we can even come up with a bunch to entertain ourselves while David is away.
pro-rights 1, anti-rights 0
Nice, GunRights, nice.
Mike, you could have made the point without saying even one word. You could have giving a mean look and took your finger and ran it from one side of your throat to the other side. Which is a time proving and international jester.
I know the elitist antis would relate to haiku, but whaddabout a limerick -even a bad one?
Blue state anti-gun grabbers,
Are simply all unarmed loud blabbers
To take mine from me,
they'd wet their pantie,
so the issue is really just jabber.
