Goodness, I thought once the immediate threat has passed, shooting the criminal is itself a crime. But that's just for US.
I remember some incidents in Orange County, CA in the late 80's. If memory serves, all sheriff's officers killed one year were killed by other officers in "training accidents" and other incidents.
What ever happened to not pointing a firearm at something that you don't intend to destroy?
Glock even makes blue plastic training pistols for training scenarios.
Little wonder that folks in the U.K. are so terrified of guns. Even the only ones don't seem to understand how to use them safely...
"This demonstrates the dangers that police officers face on our behalf."
hahahaha!
Now now, this really wasn't the officers fault ...
They were led to believe, along with entire herds of sheeple, that those 12ga CS canisters are safe for both parties, and they acted in that "knowledge".
My heart goes out to the family of that guy, it really does. Maybe now they'll get it when I tell them that "less than lethal" means: "still pretty fucking dangerous"
