Here's some ground for you, socialists. Cemetery ground. In Cleveland over the weekend, a stroke victim wheeled himself out onto the porch for some fresh air. He was struck and killed by a drug dealer's stray bullet. The dealer turned himself in, oddly.
Drug laws, gun laws. They only make a difference to people who CARE about laws, and they are NOT the problem. Your agenda is clear; you want the rest of us.
We decline.

Criminals don't obey laws, and apparently neither do the big city mayors when it comes to lining their pockets with ill gotten gains.

little grammatical slip there? NICS allows criminals to purchase guns? well, i guess you got that right, in that it certainly doesn't prevent them from doing so.

I've seen, oh, 40 to 60 licensed gun dealers vs. four or five private sellers walking around with a gun and a sign at each gun show. I've seen, oh, thousands of gun enthusiasts vs. three or four obvious "thug" types at ONE gun show, ONCE.
I've seen, oh, ten or twenty sour ATF types staking things out while selling junk nobody buys at each show.
I've read that Honduras alone exports 100 tons of DRUGS destined for the United States. That would be ... a federal crime, yet they still do. Salting some guns in there would be no problem at all. When it's profitable enough, they will.
Bloomberg's and Menino's elevators don't go all the way to the penthouse.

And there it is right there. How about this circular reasoning - If you're the kind of person that wants a gun then you're exactly the kind of "potentially dangerous person" that we need to keep from buying guns. I guess they'd have a watch list kind of like TSA, except they'd just put almost everyone one it (except for the "Only Ones") and that way accomplish their gun ban without actually banning guns. To he11 with that! I don't trust the Federal Governments ability to find its own a$$ with both hands, let alone its ability to spot "potentially dangerous persons." An obvious flanking maneuver - just how dumb does Bloomberg think we are (or rather, just how dim is Bloomberg)?

That hint at tying the NICS to the no-fly list is extremely frightening considering the publicly exposed mistakes (not to mention the desperately hidden ones) in that list, and the fact that you don't know you're on it until you get pulled of a plane for interrogation. Especially considering that there doesn't seem to be any clear appeal process to get your name off the list, and they won't even tell you why you're on it in the first place. You just have to show up early every time you want to fly so you can argue for 3 hours that your 2 year old is not some crazed terrorist.
