GUNS Magazine: July 1958

SWITZERLAND, SAFE FROM WAR THROUGH 600 YEARS, PRESERVES PEACE BY TRAINING ITS CIVILIANS TO SHOOT THE WEAPONS THEY WOULD USE IN WAR

I know I should be dulled to it by now, but it still just flat out amazes me that everybody doesn't get that simple concept.

The July 1958 issue of GUNS Magazine is now online. Enjoy.

I just LOVE that line at the bottom of the magazine.

Not much has changed, huh?

I know that most men, including those at ease with problems of the greatest complexity, can seldom accept even the simplest and most obvious truth if it be such as would oblige them to admit the falsity of conclusions which they have delighted in explaining to colleagues, which they have proudly taught to others, and which they have woven, thread by thread, into the fabric of their lives.

I´m sure glad us gun folk aren´t like that. ....right, guys? :-)

Until police lose the "only one" complex, I'd really rather they DIDN'T learn to shoot better.
