Viscous Animals

It's time for people to snitch on criminals instead of protecting viscous animals that prey on law-abiding citizens...

Sure thugs are committing crimes with firearms, but if it was tougher to purchase a weapon, maybe these animals wouldn't be able to acquire a gun as easily as buying a pack of gum...

And why do people need assault weapons? For hunting? Ever see what an M-16 does to a deer?
So far, all comments seem to be slapping this fool silly. Here's mine:
Viscous Animals?

What, you mean like cytoplasm-filled amoebas?

This has got to be one of the most moronic, disjointed and ignorant opinion pieces I've yet run across, and I've been reading 'em for decades. No wonder the byline has been left blank.

No--I've never seen what an M16 does to a deer. When did you? Or are you just thinking yourself clever?

You want to know what more and more Americans are tired of tolerating? Know-nothing blowhards like you presuming to have a say on our rights.
Feel free to slap him around a bit yourself--I doubt we'll rattle any sense into him, but sometimes, just having fun is enough.

I suspect an M-16 does to a deer the same that a ruger No 1 in the same chamber does to a deer..

M-16 + Deer = viscous animal

"...M-16 does to a deer..."

Less than a 30.06, I'll wager. And, yes, I noticed that he was saying that animals were thick and oily, rather than violent.

What an ultramaroon!

Viscous animal = criminal scum!

The wound channel of a .223 is narrower than that of most hunting calibers, but improves with soft- or hollowpoints. It's ENTIRELY sufficient for deer, with proper bullet placement, but the law says no most places. Most people have SEMI-autos, so military assault-rifle hunting is a moot point. Can someone capable of writing be that ignorant except on purpose?
THEY are winding up the RPMs in preparation for releasing the brakes...
When they hit the Immovable Object, it's going to be pretty spectacular.

Unfortunately we have people that are pro-gun/gun owners (even on this site) that believe simliar things.

At least people that do not know anything about guns have an excuse, they don't know better and can be educated. The people that do know about guns don't have an excuse, they don't seem to be able to be educated.

I've seen what an AR15 can do to an Elk. Taste great!

I killed a Zebra at 325-335 meters on a windless African afternoon with a .223 bolt rifle head shot (for which I got crucified by some people on gun forums as to hunting ethics). Killed it deader than dead. Not an impressive wound channel but it did what it had to do. Brain stem and first two vert were toast and the 55g soft point was dust, having sumped all it's energy in the equine. It tasted good too, nice marbled steaks.

If this guy is suggesting full auto on a deer, he's a loon. Full auto == many misses per minute rather than hosed deer in most people's hands.

Next deer I get, in the coming season, is likely going to be with a Contender Ackley Improved .223.

O.K., David I let him have it. Like you said, he's most likely one of those who look at you as if you suddenly grew another head when you refute his lies with the truth, but it felt good to verbally bitch-slap him. (Well, I wasn't too vicious. Or is that "viscous"? Heh.)
