Maggie's Me$$iah

First we had Calypso Louie heralding the coming of The Messiah.

Now we have a privileged political dilettante from Smith College.

My favorite bit of Sophian sophism is her decrying "tax cuts for the rich."

Do you have any idea what it costs to go to Smith? And that doesn't include room and board. Or a year-long stay in Italy...?

Good grief.

And some believe Christians to be deluded about the Beast, and the Anti-Christ.

I liked the comment that said:

"Some of us grow up to be adults, and some of us are stuck on stupid"

Her article may be satire, but I doubt it. It comes mighty close to being blasphemy, though. At least, that's what I'D call comparing the Son of God to a corrupt Chicago politician.

Jesus paid OUR debt (sin) to God with HIS own blood and life. Obama proposes to pay HIS great debt to society with OUR money. (paraphrased from G. Gordon Liddy)
