Big Brother's New Target: Tracking of All Firearms

Columnist David Codrea of Guns Magazine, however, calls it a "ridiculous affront to liberty."

"This is nothing less than a declaration of war on American gun owners," Codrea writes on Gun Rights Examiner. [More]

Nice to see someone notice all the screaming.

It's their main page headline right now, so I'm fairly stoked.

Controversial. I guess it could be called that. The way the Japanese Sunday morning attack on sleeping Pearl Harbor was controversial.

We saw it coming. California style "you can keep it if you register it." Then what happened in California? The registered semi-auto rifles became felony bait if you didn't turn them in. Fortunately only 2% of owners complied with the registration non-sense.
California leads the way; Chicago pushes from behind.
Proponents of this bill had better hope it is never enacted into law. All bets will be off then. The economy tanking, industries failing, banks defaulting, Social Security bankruptcy, stock market crash, another Great Depression: ripples on a wavelet on a tidal wave. Because this scheme plainly says the whole of the American people are a rogue element to be dealt with, an obstacle between them and their objective.

It's actually a declaration of war on ALL Americans. The ones who don't own guns just don't know it yet.
