Revised Free Speech Guidelines

Revised guidelines on endorsements and testimonials by the Federal Trade Commission, now under review and expected to be adopted, would hold companies liable for untruthful statements made by bloggers and users of social networking sites who receive samples of their products. [More]

So say if a gun blogger wins a weekend at a shooting facility and has things like "firearms, ammunition, accessories, room and board during the event... provided by the sponsors," and their report get challenged by their political enemies...

Nah, it could never happen.
