We're the Only Ones on Loan Enough

Daggett, in a telephone interview today, explained it was just an honest error made when switching cars so he could get his Acura serviced. The gun, he said, belongs to his driver, retired state trooper Ken Argiro. [More]
We're talking "Only Ones2" here.

So how do we know he didn't know about it? His word?

Let's see what that's worth:
Second Amendment rights must be upheld, because American citizens have the right to bear arms. However, there is a limit when firearms endanger public safety. We support New Jersey’s aggressive gun control laws. The sport of hunting has a long tradition in our state; we support the rights of hunters in New Jersey.
So basically, he's a demonstrable liar.

OK, let's give him another chance and see him "support New Jersey's aggressive gun control laws."

Let's see him get the same treatment any of us would, if we were found with a gun in a car and claimed we had no idea it was there.

And whatever happened to Norbert?

Daggett, that guy only believes in the 2A within the confines of Hunting.

Stanley: "You see, Ollie, the law is the law, except when it's not and then it isn't. Some people have go to jail "because it's the law" while others don't even get charged for doing the very same thing that the other people went to jail for. That's because the law is the law, except when it's not."

Ollie: "Hmmm. You know, Stanley, I'm still not sure that that makes any sense at all. Why would the law be the law for some people and not for other people?"

Stanley: "Oh, that's explained by "equality under the law". You see, some people are more equal than others, so the law doesn't apply to them, while other people are just plain, ordinary equal, so the law does apply to them. That's called equality under the law."

Ollie: "Stanley, I'm still not sure that makes any sense. Are you sure that's right?"

Stanley: "Well, Ollie, you know that's the way it works, doesn't it?"

Ollie: "You know, Stanley, that is the way it works! You must be right!"

Sounds like when Va senator Jim Webb's aide transited DC and then tried to enter a federal building with a loaded gun

Chief Lanier refused to adress the issue and the feds refused to prosecute.

This was an interesting issue for another reason: had this not been the aide of a democrat - there would have been cries of racism in that the aide was white and skated in a very un gunfriendly locale.

We all know there are two sets of rules.

Chas, that's got to be about the funniest thing I've seen! I can just see Laurel and Hardy doing that for a routine!

Still, to be able to say with a straight face that he supports the 2A, then turns around and endorses all manner of infringements, whether out of ignorance or deception, is the worst hypocrisy.
