Haven't you noticed throughout the last 20 centuries what evil has befallen the Jews, and how they seem powerless to stop it? No other race on earth just seems to give up and wait to die. Very, very few of the Jews in Europe fought against the tyranny.

One of these days they will wake up and realize the gravity and import of what their ancestors said on that eve of Passover . . . and how those folks condemned their children with the words "His blood be on us, and on our children."

That being said, let us be careful what we say, what we agree to, and what we lay upon our children.

Why such strong reactions to this "health" thing? Sure it's outrageous, but the income tax is "patently unconstitutional" and people still obey. Search "Irwin Schiff" and "Income Tax" if you think that's a conspiracy theory. And read the constitution. If "health care" is passed people will comply, but only if it is gradually, by degrees, phased in. In a few short years, health insurance "resistors" will be looked down upon as extremists.

The constitutionality of the income tax is open to question due to the 14th Amendment. However, the constitutionality of nationalized health-care is not. It is patently (as you say) unconstitutional. It is a reach far beyond the scope of anything ever done in America before. Nationalized health-care will make us an outright communist nation. I, for one, cannot abide that.

The political leaders with power over the man in the photo simply, systematically, reduced the quality of life for him and millions like him to the point where death seemed a respite, a release, all the freedom there was left to hope for. Swing low, sweet chariot, crossing over Jordan, oh dem golden slippers when I lay my burden down. Argument of tyrants, creed of slaves, literally.

I did read it, and I mostly agree. I say mostly because 8 years ago the Bushivisci passed a law that says the Executive branch can kidnap and you and kill you if it so desires. That's a pretty big deal.They can also spy on you, search your house, read your emails, see what you buy.. They can do anything. No judge, no jury, nothing. The 4th amendment is GONE already. But it was a Republican doing it so it's ok. The "health" bill just adds insult to injury. I hope they do pass this crap all at once because millions of people will tell them to shove it.

The part that disturbs me is that so many people seem to think things like this are wrong because the constitution didn't "authorize" it...

If the folks who want big brother government (a clear majority still) amend the constitution - it will suddenly be OK??

Not in my world. I do not recognize any "authority" of the constitution. I didn't sign it, I didn't agree to it, and I certainly will not stand by and be murdered because it says my rights have been canceled due to an "amendment."

Or do you have some pipe dream that only good and lofty things would be added by such an amendment? Remember prohibition, which set the stage for the "war on drugs," guns, and everything else.

That's why the amendment process has the unorganized-militia fail-safe backup system. Those afraid of the TEA Party-ers should take notice.
