I even saw on Faux News a couple days back they referred to it as 5.7 caliber, and I was wondering how much a round would weigh...

I'm tellin' ya, we should give these Authorized Journalists and Only Ones a first-hand account of the awesome killing power of the Five SeveN, since Deppity Chief Moore insists it is suitable for "large lions, tigers, and bears" (oh my). Whosoever wonders about its magical powers gets handed a Five SeveN and airdropped into the Okavango swamp.
Just think of the firsthand knowledge this would provide!
FAUX news referred to it as a 'cop killer capable of penetrating armor' or something close to that on the day of the killings.
While l.e. and gov can get the good ammo, we can't.
A reporter for CBS this morning described Hasan's weapon as a "laser-guided high-powered pistol".

Maybe we can un-invent guns and erase all knowledge of their existance. We can then go back to the good old days of swords and bows and arrows. Uhh maybe clubs and spears Uhh how about rocks.
