No S***, Sherlock

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano conceded Monday that the aviation security system failed when a young man on a watchlist with a U.S. visa in his pocket and a powerful explosive hidden on his body was allowed to board a fight from Amsterdam to Detroit. [More]
Those are some powers of observation you're displaying there, J-No.

Meanwhile, some want to use those "watchlists" for this...

More Orwellian "logic"--we know what the Founders considered necessary to the security of a free state. It figures those bent on subversion are committed to destroying that.

She said her words had been taken out of context.

Don't you see, David? It's our fault for misunderstanding her.

Indeed, everything worked -- after it was too late.

Ah, the Feds.

Uh oh:

Al Qaeda Group Claims Bombing Attempt

A branch of al Qaeda said Monday that it provided the Nigerian suspect accused of attempting to blow up a Detroit-bound jet on Christmas Day with "a technically advanced device."

Meanwhile, President Barack Obama said the administration is doing everything in its power to keep fliers safe and thwart potential terrorist threats.

"We will not rest until we find all who were involved and hold them accountable," Mr. Obama said in remarks from the Kaneohe Marine Base, near where he is vacationing in Hawaii.

You can be certain that if Bush were vacationing at his Crawford ranch, the so-called Progressives would be outraged and condemn him.

Well, what should we expect? This is the idiot that said sneaking/breaking into the US was not a crime. She doesn't even know the applicable sections of the U.S. Code that make illegal entry into the US illegal. In the words of the great Buggs Bunny: "What an ultramaroon!"
