The Only Way

A planetary law, such as China's one-child policy, is the only way to reverse the disastrous global birthrate...[More]
Right after your enforcers kill me, Diane Francis. In your case, I won't object to a western exception for Chinese-style ex post facto female infanticide.

Marxist hive insect.

They hold to a culture of death. Their culture has been gaining traction throughout the 20th century. It is a matter of time, I fear, before they overwhelm our culture. They got the numbers and/or the apathy on their side. We got all the grit and determination.

Well said, David!

I suppose that makes me world enemy number 1. I raised eight and contributed DNA to four of them. Plus sustained two others during their adolescence.

I am afraid Ms Francis
I like the dances
without the pantses

But I adore the offspring
of the two-backed thing
and hateful deed I would bring

to any who would resist
their right to exist

I dare these scum to implement something like that. I dare them.

That is the reason why I will never be able to live in China, because I fear that I will lose all self-restraint, and pull off a Henry Bowman on every single one of these communist murderers in Tiananmen and the provincial offices.
People in PRC are targeted, arrested, and forcibly drugged and taken to mental institutions simply for filing a COMPLAINT against a government official.

I know if someone I loved were subject to that kind of atrocity, I will do something about it, and believe me, this is not Internet bravado, I am dead ass serious.

The time to feed the hogs have been long overdue in China. The hogs should have been fed in 1965,when that so called cultural revolution began.

That's, right. You first, Ms. Francis!

The fact that the birthrate is well UNDER replacement in almost every western country for quite some time seems to have escaped these death mongers.

That, and the fact that there is simply no evidence whatsoever that there is any real overpopulation problem at all, of course.

And yes, if they feel that strongly about it, I suspect none of the rest of us would object if they offed themselves. That solution is certainly open to all parasites... And some of us would be glad to help - under the right circumstances, naturally.

birth rates tend under replacement whenever a society sufficiently relies on the government for security in life, possessions, retirement, access to health, etc., all of which we have done. to the extent "national" defense, security, health, and so on are perpetuated, we will die off.

you know, it's just as easy to make more kids as it is to buy rifles, and almost as fun. it's not like the process of liberalizing (in the classical and god-ordained sense) needs any more help -- only to not be hindered. such as this woman, whom aim to do so intentionally, should be considered a liability, but it is still a tragedy that good men do little or nothing to turn away from other, more subtle forms of collectivism.

What exactly is a "planetary law?"

Good luck enforcing that.

Yeah, MamaLiberty, but we're talking about misanthropes who are a bit slow to consider consequences. The social planners are only peripherally aware that they're aborting themselves out of existence. Urban utopia didn't pan out, so they're a bit nervous that they'll become a permanent, government-dependent minority to those who believe in self-reliance and the preservation of life. Solution: force the undesirables (political opposition) to kill their children.

If I may make a broad leap, this is an explanation for why there's an immediacy to force government into the role of middle man for all of life's necessities. (The push for "climate" controls and "health care" are two examples, where the desperation is so acute that it can't be masked.) The statists are attempting to build an unimpeachable authority, where no one would dare vote against it for fear of losing that which sustains life. It's a morality in the same manner as a kidnapper who shelters and feeds his captives so long as it contributes to his purpose, but it's not the equivalent of providing shelter and food for someone who has lost his home to a hurricane.

Simply the logical end result of all authoritarian "thinking".

Here's hoping that Denise is the first one in line to get spayed. What a damn idiot.

The swill that reporter just spewed onto her computer screen is narrow, linear and ignorant. Examples show that education is the cure for high birthrates, not world government sanctioned violations of human rights. In China, restrictions on birth rates lead to increased numbers of abortions, murders and abandonment of female babies. In fact the United States would have a negative population growth rate if it weren't for illegal immigration and anchor babies.

I can't believe this high school crap passed for a news article. Way to come up with an original headline, Diane, you moron.

It would be easy to refute Diane's nonsense but people threatening my children do not get arguments. They get fair warning.

People threatening my children get no warning, just unpleasant consequences. No complaints, no rebuttals, just pain or worse.
