Interesting how no one in the comments on the article noticed, or cared to comment on, the obvious failure of the gun free zone signs. Maybe such comments are screened out.

Clearly, he shot from beyond the "gun free zone" into the "gun free zone", obviously the best way to fix this is to extend the gun ban to 1000 yards from any public school, university, or public place.

Maybe gun free doesn't extend to bullet free, but the fix is simple, just add another sign.

They already had the 1000' ban, but they had to repeal that when they found gun owners living within that limit. Even they couldn't force gun owners to move or give up their guns and keep any credibility. Not that credibility is important to the gun grabbers.
