Besides, the Globo-Cops are for it, and any group that embraces "law enforcers" from such bastions of liberty like Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, Central America, etc., must be something Seattle "progressives" like Sen. Jeanne Kohl-Welles, D-Seattle, and Sen. Adam Kline, D-Seattle would also want to embrace. After all, tyrannical regimes have the potential to be no less deadly now than at any other time in history.

Well, before they enact any harsher laws regarding guns, perhaps they could prove their belief in their stance by making it a matter of policy to do away with the security forces at the capitol. Or, at the least, only allow their security forces to be armed with single shot break-open pistols.
And they should probably deweaponize all the SWAT units in the state. Do that for oh, 75 years (same amount of time they had to prove their gun control schemes) then we'll talk about it again 2085.
