That's hilarious. There was no note indicating suicide, so the next logical assumption? He scratched his nose with his gun and "accidentally" pulled the trigger?
Man. That kind of logic has all kinds of possibilities.
"Honey, I wasn't cheating on you... my wiener was itchy and I was just scratching it on that woman's pubic hairs.. when it just accidentally fell in!"
"No officer, I didn't MEAN to be drinking, my lip was itchy, and I was scratching it with the lip of this bottle of Jack Daniels, I guess some of it accidentally dribbled into my mouth. And I didn't mean to drive, my right foot was itchy, so I was scratching it with the accelerator and the car accidentally started going down the road!"
"No, your honor, I didn't MEAN to burglarize that house, my stomach was itchy, and I found that someone else's windowsill is the best place to scratch it, then I just accidentally fell in..."

I'm wondering just how they arrived at this conclusion. Allegedly? He was alone, in a locked room. One can only suppose there was film of the event.
Wonder if they'll use this film as a training aid for future officers.
Perhaps he wanted to blow his nose, to clear his head?
If true, this story automatically nominates the man for the Darwin Awards!
