There's an epidemic of searchmania.
We're back from voting, my wife and I. She asked me not to get in a discussion with the people urging that we vote for the King's Man. She is still very hurt by my not saluting during the Pledge of Allegiance at our granddaughter's high school graduation after being wanded and groped. "Things happen at high schools..." Yes, and they made sure everyone was helpless.
My country my ass.
Anyway, the PD here sometimes sets up checkpoints and "asks" to search EVERY VEHICLE that happens to come down the pike; interstate highway, expressway, Main Street, they don't care.
That's not "consent," that's being coerced. No search, no pass, until a supervisor comes and has a little discussion, maybe some accusations and intimidation.
