Florida school board shooting shows failure of ‘gun control’ on multiple counts

Superintendent Bill Husfelt, who acted bravely, albeit futilely, had time to say “Please don’t” before assailant Duke opened fire.  The rest had to resign themselves to diving for cover in terror.
Why? [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner column looks at a failed three strikes policy: "Gun-free zones," expecting criminals to obey "gun control" laws, and relying on the "Only Ones" to protect you.

Talk about special education.

What's the definition of insanity, again?

Also celebrate a special day, make a special phone call, pledge yourself to a special resolution and watch a special program.

Do something special and share the link?

'Give the attacker what he wants."

In the movie "Batman: The Dark Knight", Alfred says to Bruce, "Some men can't be reasoned with; they can't be negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn." Lotta truth in that statement, even if it is a line in a fictional movie.

What if your attacker is one of those?

Then lay down and die, according to the school board.

But wait -- there's more:

Clay Duke, the man who opened fire on a Florida school board Tuesday, posted a “last testament” on Facebook decrying the wealthy and linking to a slew of progressive sites including theprogressivemind.info and MediaMatters.org.

Huh. I could swear I ended my column this morning with that same information...

In the video, Mr. Duke seems to have learned his pistol techniques from the old "Get Smart" TV show. Thank goodness for his sloppy one-handed grip and letting the muzzle droop so far that he couldn't even SEE the front sight, much less focus on it. Otherwise there'd have been some dead people.
Not part of the gun culture, just an angry disillusioned leftist looking to punish some authority figure, and make the gun culture look a little crazier as an added bonus.
