Unnecessary 'compromises' help anti-defense forces advance

Never surrender anything. Make the enemies of the right to keep and bear arms fight for every inch, because any beachhead you cede will be used to prosecute their next advance for more lethal laws.

Go on offense. Make them be the ones who cede ground. [More]
This morning's Gun Rights Examiner commentary warns that if you won't take the initiative to become a force multiplier to both fight preemptive surrender and go on the offense,  expect to see more ground eroded out from under your feet by those who would presume to compromise your rights, and by those who enable them by not forcing the issue.
