A motorist found a gun, stun gun and other items belonging to a western Pennsylvania police officer who lost the items after leaving them on top of his pickup and driving off after his shift ended Saturday. [More]Nice to know "the unnamed officer" will be disciplined.Be nicer to know the idiot's name. And to see if he'd reported the gun as stolen or did not report it at all.
I know this says the gun was badly damaged. If unrepairable, I'd have still been tempted to take it to one of those no-questions-asked "buybacks" for a gift card...
