RNC presses Trump to pledge no independent 2016 run [More]So will the other RNC candidates and "leaders" pledge to support Trump if he does win the party nomination?
Third party may actually be the way to go this time, if only to show it can be done, and that people are catching on to a foolish and fraudulent idea. With Hillary's criminality becoming less concealable each passing day to all but dependents and fanatics, with the GOP offering the usual gang of establishment sellouts, and with his ability to attract working class voters, I can see Trump pulling in over a third of the electorate. That will make the tired accusation we've seen over the years that "If you don't vote for _____ that means the Democrat will win," into something The Donald's supporters can turn back on the ones making it: You don't want Hillary? Vote for our guy. otherwise, it's your fault.
I'm enjoying the theater, especially seeing increasing desperation from the same political con men who have been ignoring, putting down and betraying their base for years under the arrogant assumption that conservative-leaning voters had nowhere else to go.
UPDATE: I guess it's a moot point now. Perhaps it will forestall some savage attacks.
