The real question is, since Uncle Joe is a lawyer AND a public figure, can his "advice" be considered "sound legal opinion" to be admitted into evidence for the defense?

IIRC that was tried in Washington right after "shotgun" Joe gave that advice and the court threw it out.

Several years ago in Pflugerville, Tx, about 6 "utes" approached a house where a young lady had dissed the utes. Daddy emptied a mag from his Beretta thru the front door and managed to off one of the participants. Grand Jury no-billed. And all the participants were minorities. Ain't Texas self-defense law GRAND?
