One thing we must all keep in mind is that the Air Force failed to comply with the requirements of the NICS law AS IT IS ALREADY WRITTEN. The only legislative “fix” called for here — if any! — is the addition of specific penalties and punishments for government hacks who fail to obey the law AS ALREADY WRITTEN. Everything else is opportunistic, dangerous charlatanry.
