Clutching Pearls

It must be said that the representatives were making a good point — the process breaks precedent and is unfair — but they made it in a way akin to drugged up college ruffians “sitting in” at the university president’s office, rather than with respect for the institution or the constituents they serve. [More]
Kind of like when John Lewis "led" the Democrats to do a gun sit-in?

Anybody calling them "Antifa"?

How about this cow?

Tell me again about respect for the institution.

Oh, respect is long gone.

And cows need to put out to pasture.

There's a relevant scene in "Band of Brothers" between Maj. Winters and Capt. Sobel. The one where Winters has to remind Sobel to render a salute to a superior officer. One salutes superior officers even if one knows they're the scum of the earth. You render proper courtesy to the uniform. Respect however is something else entirely. One has to earn respect.

Someone please let me know when Princess Nancy and "her" squad does something, anything, worthy of anyone's respect. Frankly I've become tired of picking through all the drama looking for anything that would count as deserving of any.
