"Journalists in Michigan are reportedly being told by state legislators that bills introduced this week only relate to the use of deadly force in one's home, and don't create new legal justifications for expanded use of deadly force in public. That is not accurate," whines the Brady Center's Peter Hamm.
Heaven forbid you have the means and will to protect yourself or your loved ones if attacked in public! What kind of vigilante miscreant could even think of such a thing?

Well, to answer your question, Sarah Brady would think of such a thing. She has a license to carry concealed. Further she makes use of armed bodyguards. She is the kind of miscreant that would think of such a thing. But then her life is more precious than yours, didn't you know? Ask her to do without her armed protection, you'll see.
Oh yeah, Dianne Feinstein, Chuckie Schumer, Ted Kennedy, they are the kind of miscreants that think of such a thing. Three of them went so far as to become associate U.S. Marshalls so that they may even carry on commercial flights and all public places generally prohibited.
But their lives are more precious too, didn't you know?
