Thank god they banned assault weapons. So no one was assaulted with an assault weapon. I mean except for the weapon they were assaulted with. Which makes it an assault weapon doesn't it? Except not a banned assault weapon. So they can congratulate themselves on a job well done. Except it wasn't. Well done. But at least the law-abiding citizens didn't have one. So we can be comforted in that only criminals had weapons to assault law-abiding citizens with. But not assault weapons. Right?
Or were they just protecting their phony-baloney jobs?
"...near 100" is an absolute number, not a rate.
What do they teach in journalism schools these days?
