So harsher sentences for criminal use of guns is a bad idea?

anonymous: So if you get killed with a knife, are you recommending your murderer get a lighter sentence than if he had used a gun?

Hi David- just wanted to draw your attention to a couple of good ews stories over on the Gun Watch blog- http://gunwatch.blogspot.com/2005_11_01_gunwatch_archive.html#113154541089419322

In the first the Mayor of Montgomery praises a man for using his gun to defend himself, and in the second some victims of abuse have realised that a restraining order isn't worth the paper it's written on- and they're arming themselves.

Goos to know that despite setbacks like San Fran there is some good news out thre for 2nd Amendment advocates.
