A False Alternative

SAF/CCRKBA sent out an alert about their new poll on KABA:

Should cities like San Francisco, which ban firearms, be allowed to receive federal tax dollars for crime prevention?

The poll appears in the left hand column of the web page.

A number of national radio talk show hosts are monitoring this poll closely, as well as key Congressmen and Senators.

Perhaps SAF would be kind enough to point out where this document delegates the enumerated power to the fedgov to involve itself in funding local policing anywhere?

Know what good causes die of? In Dec.1863,Grant was given total command of the Unions' armies. In Mar.1865, Lee was given command of the Confederate armies. Granted,(sorry)the Union had the upper hand by then in 1863, but it's hand was greatly strengthened by the unity of it's command.Lee wasn't made commander of the ANV until mid 1862. He didn't have the power to rein in his very much less talented generals from wasting their power until it was all gone in 1865. Had he the authority in 1861, He might have had the ability to cause enough trouble for the Union to sue for peace in 1863. Eisenhower had to preside over a mis-matched group of idoits, cowards, and prima donnas to crush the Nazis, and if he hadn't ridden herd on the whole bunch like he did, things certainly could have gone much worse than they did. Has CCRKBA, GOA,JPFO,SAF,NRA,SAS,and who knows what Pro-Second Amendment organizations ever sat at table, together, sought to iron out their differences, used the great strength and edge each has in a united effort to get what all of us want? By each keeping their strength to themselves, they are weak in the face of our adversaries. The Left, the right, the entrenched people in gov't,the Anti's,and the ambivialent. I hate to ask you Dave, and if you want my help, I'll give it, but, can you unite us? Unite the clans? Can somebody? I really believe one big hammer does more that a lot of little ones. I think we all agree nearly the same what we want. We want freedom to exercise our Second Amendment Rights without all the crap attached to it that is. 100 guys and gals that can fight like a team can whip 1000 that can't. When will we get serious about this fight?

Sean, I'm a nobody. They won't listen to me. Hell, I'm small potatoes compared to most blogs--many gun blogs won't link to me for whatever reason--some have never heard of WarOnGuns, others think I'm an a*****e.

NRA--at least their CA grassroots honcho, has reportedly dismissed me as a "wild-eyed extremist." Gottlieb has chastised me for not realizing "politics is the art of the possible."

They don't want their precious access and influence jeopardized. They seem to view our rights as their bargaining chips.

NRA won't listen to JPFO, which can't lobby due to tax status. GOA does lobby, but they have nowhere near the influence of NRA--I'm trying to change that in my own humble way--get honest political ratings, and no compromise on legislatiion.

Your instinctive use of the term "clans" is appropriate-- particularly as it applies to certain Scottish Lairds forsaking their countrymen to curry favor with Longshanks.

HA!

"Pro 2A" groups exist for ONE reason:

To get your cash.

The best thing that could happen is to
not give them any money. Let them wither
and die. We'd all be better off.

Witness "FishOrMan". He had to do it all
himself. No help from any "Pro 2A" group.

Eff the NRA.
