"Gun Used in Rampage"

The 12-gauge shotgun does maximum damage to the body of its target. It's easy to purchase. No permit is required, and an instant background check over the phone can be as fast as credit-card approval for someone with no prior felony conviction.
What a great new pejorative for the 12-gauge: Rampage guns!

To paraphrase what Homer Simpson said about actors: "Reporters. Is there anything they don't know?"

I remember reading somewhere--it might have been that incident in Seattle, it might have been something that happened earlier, but a shotgun was used, with a pistol grip, and someone decided to comments on how it was used to "hunt people" rather than animals.

Of course, the MSM jumped all over that one.

Scarf...slobber...more!

"At another Seattle store, G.I. Joe's in Northgate, a salesman who identified himself only as Ryan wasn't familiar with the gun.

"Are those legal?" he asked. The sporting-goods store doesn't sell them because sportsmen wouldn't want them, he said."

What kind of gun store clerk isn't familiar with Mossbergs and the legality of a normal pump-action shotgun? Tell me so I can be sure never to visit that store!
