ROFL -- I blogged about it yesterday, and posed a solution to the enterprising criminal: Want a free gun? Start trolling public bathrooms. There seems to be a spate of "professionals" leaving their guns in the shitter.
I know I'll start looking. And the cop who leaves it behind (Did I say that?) loses it!

If I were lucky enough to find a gun in such a state, and it came to my attention that it was lost by a PD that refuses to return confiscated firearms (like NY or Chicago or similar), I would let them know that I had their gun and I was destroying it in accordance with their own policy.
