I am glad that you are correct, on this. Religion control would be no more or no less an abomination than gun control presently is.
You have exposed their hypocrisy, but they have insulated themselves from acceptance of the term, because "well, well, we have a right to freedom of religion and guns are scary, its different".
So why do I find Islam so scary, but much less so when I am armed than if I was helpless?
Oh, damn, there I go. Forgetting that that's different. Why was that again?
