UN Renovation Needs U.S. OK

The United Nations headquarters is "falling down," but a planned renovation still needs U.S. government approval, the project director said yesterday.
I say let it fall. Maybe we can melt the metal down and make something useful--like arms for free people. Start with this:

Let me get this straight. They run us down around the world, trample all over out sovereignty, outright ignore us in our dealings with them, but they want $1.6 BILLION to fix their building? Their lucky we're offering $23 mil.

I'm with you David. Let the damn thing fall down and then have bulldozers push what's left off into the water (with or without its occupant still inside, it makes no difference to me) so The Donald can build another hotel.

I say, Blow it up now! Don't wait! And tell the U.N. it's no longer welcome on American soil. If they try to return, they will be targets! (And those powder blue helmets make nifty ones, too!)

If they don't have the money to build it, tell them to build it in some other country where it might be cheaper; we don't need them here anyway.
