How is it that a rifle "accidentally went off"? Seems he must have had his finger on the trigger, which would mean we had a so-called trained LEO either acting in an amazingly irresponsible manner, or he committed suicide.
Suicide, pure and simple. Anyone that stupid cannot function in society, and would be institutionalized.
