For 12 years, I fought lawlessness as DCI Jane Tennison in the television series Prime Suspect. The crimes I solved on television were sometimes horrific, but I have since discovered that they can pale in comparison with the real-life horrors faced by millions of ordinary people when guns are easily available and fall into the wrong hands.Newsflash, you clueless moonbat: You never "fought lawlessness." You never "solved" any "crimes."
That was all play acting.
Why someone who can't tell the difference between that and reality should have a voice in serious matters is beyond me.

I was going to post a comment where the story was listed, but chose not to.
I did not because of the cured concrete between the ears of many of the UK commenters.
Their logic comes down to this..
"If only we could ban those nasty guns then people would all live in harmony"
And if ifs and buts were candy and nuts then everyday would be Christmas!
Apparently this fact escapes such people... Those that abuse others at the point of a gun will not obey a ban on said guns.
These are beyond the pale. How many do you think we have here? 5 million, 10? Herding these guppies from one plantation to another will be amusing for their new masters. Kind of like the town of Hadleyville, in High Noon. Remember the Spanish woman? I like her reply to Why? If you do not know, I cannot explain it to you.
O.K., this woman is TRULY CLUELESS!! How it is possible for her to not be able to distinguish between reality and play-acting--well, I"M clueless on that issue!
