As parliament considers an amendment to tighten gun control laws, the head of Cape Town's Red Cross Children's Hospital, Sebastian van As, has called for the gun-licensing age to be increased to 25 years to reduce the alarming number of children killed or maimed by gunfire.Yeah, that'll work, van Ass.

I read a coupla years ago that the biggest killer of children under the age of five,in the U.S. is......their own mothers, with about 500 a year dying that way. Followed closely by 5 gal. plastic buckets that are at least partly full of liquid that they fall into. Could we trade the SA's some of our sweet moms and some plastic buckets, cause I'll bet we do a better job of not killing children with em'. Just a thought. Could we start with that mom in NY,the socialist govt.type,with the one kid, and the husband who rapes,lies,murders,a lot. He was maimed by gunfire too, though. The thought that he might have to actually defend his own country turned him into a yellow belly.
