Is There a Gun Where Your Child Plays?

You dang betcha.

And they've shot every one they're big enough to handle safely. It seems to educate them a lot better than adopting a policy of avoidance, denial and "adult"-induced phobia.

Any other questions, Dr. Pollack?

I hate to imitate a Yankee on anything, but when someone asks me a question like that, I reply,"What kind of sex do you like best,S&M, or something involving animals?"

Whenever a medically trained person starts talking about firearms, I ask to see some documentation that he has had firearm saftey training.

When they fail to produce it, I ask who their supervisor is, and complain about getting advice from untrained people, and ask if this practice is standard at this facility ... and if they are willing to accept liability for having untrained persons giving advice?

A Kaiser Permanente professional tried this CDC crap once on me ... the hospital administrator ended up apologizing to me, and promised the practice would stop, at least at KP OR/WA.
