There Goes the Neigborhood

The average leader of a Chicago street gang is 43, and more often than not he lives in the leafy suburbs of Cook County.

He typically has been convicted of murder...

Advice on how to fight back...

*Limiting handgun sales to once a month and banning .50-caliber sniper rifles...
Yep, let the animals loose and disarm the victim pool.

My kind of town, Chicago is.

How about limiting gang members to one month of breathing, and gang leaders to a mandatory retirement age of seventeen, at room temperature.

It gets better.

The evening news is reporting that there were some raids today in what is left of the Robert Taylor homes. Apparently The Only Ones were armed with ten search warrants that gave them access to any unit in the housing project. A well spoken gentleman that lives in the projects described how he was detained and cuffed while his apartment was searched. He described his handling by The Only Ones and how he was never shown a warrant nor told what the search was for.

The report was on the ABC affiliate. It will be interesting to see if the same report makes it to the late night news or if the report (as well as the interview) will be suppressed.
