They're still repeating that bogus AP story, where a DA was claimed to have said that most police officers killed from 1994 to 2003 were killed with FN 5.7's that only came on the market in 2004.
But now, the one FN 5.7 that was seized has multiplied into more than one.
The New York Press is repeating and expanding the lie.
The truth is, 3 men were found with ordinary handguns that do not penetrate body armor. But that doesn't fit the gun ban agenda.

Is he talking about American automakers? I know that a) they're struggling financially, b) they make machines and c) vehicles in the US (many of which are manufactured right here) are responsible for 42,636 fatalities in the 2004 according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. That, in my book, makes them more of a killing machine than a firearm.

Let’s see if I get your points correct:
A gun dealer in Georgia (or anywhere) runs a FBI background check on a potential buyer and it comes back approved. The buyer fills out a form 4473 stating that they are the legitimate buyer and are legally buying the gun. The buyer then transports the gun across state lines & sells it in NYC where it used in crime.
Because the buyer has broken numerous federal and state laws worth about 150 years prison time, you, Doug Black, blame the dealer, not the criminal who bought the gun.
Do you also blame the car dealers for all of the vehicle deaths in NYC? Your logic is disgusting, illiberal and ignorant. It is no wonder you choose to write fiction, you cannot tell the difference between criminal behavior and a heavily regulated retail business.
"Domestic enemy" is right! These are the same blatant lies that have been around for years. No way does this "reporter" not know this! He's nort ignorant; he's lying deliberately!

News 1 VP of News Steve Paulus Replied:
"You are right. The statistics are wrong and we are removing the story
from our website. For what it’s worth, the number were cited by Queens
D.A. Richard Brown at his press conference. The other information in
the story also came from the D.A. While we tend to give credit to law
enforcement sources for knowing what they are talking about, we should
have realized that the statistics didn’t make any sense.
