Well, can't bring myself to agree with that one, David. ;)
The way that it seems to work best for me. Is that whenever I'm outside, I'm armed. The only time I'm not, is in victim disarmament zones. Like banks, stores, etc., or, sleeping. But, even when sleeping, there are a couple right within reach. Funny thing about that. I've never had any type of 'horrible incident' occur when I'm armed. Wonder if there is something to that? YOU THINK?
I'm comfortable to assert, that if even 1/4 of the population were armed. We wouldn't be witnessing near the amount of these horrible events. With supposedly 80 million gun owners in America, were at just over a quarter of the population.
If examples are made of a few scumbags, it tends to have an effect on the other scumbags.
'The Only Way', to me anyways, is to eliminate the scumbags. Rather than the guns. For you need the guns to rid, and keep rid of, the scumbags.

What kind of morons get to be community leaders? We have here a no good sonofabitch that purposely shot and killed a 3 year old girl and these idiots think he will turn himself in if they ask nicely so others won't feel anxious.
Is there any hope for people who think like that or the people that follow them?
