A police sergeant investigating reports of a gunfight accidentally shot a New Brighton teen-ager in the leg when somebody reportedly bumped his arm at an Upper East Side party early yesterday morning...Police have not yet released the name of the sergeant who fired the shot...You don't need to know his name. All you need to know is he's an "Only One."

What's the big deal? He only shot the kid once. That's just a friendly greeting by NYPD standards. Now if he fired 41 shots . . .
