New WarOnGuns Poll: Should Released Felons Get Their "Gun Rights" Back?

Your choices are:
__YES-They have paid their debt to society
__NO-They've proven they can't be trusted
__MAYBE-NO for violent crimes, YES for nonviolent or unconstitutional convictions like "gun law" violations
__If they're still violently dangerous, why are they being let go?
Take the new poll in the left margin of this page. This one is supposed to let you give multiple answers.

Many thanks to 1894C for suggesting this topic.

Here are the results of the last poll, "Wayne Fincher Should Receive :"

I voted yes, because they should get all their rights back after they've served their time. Otherwise they're being punished for the rest of their lives by being made second-class citizens. If they're kept that way, they have less incentive to go straight.

If he chooses to go straight, he should be able to be trusted with a gun. He may have greater need for one as well, as his old criminal buddies may turn on him.

If he goes back to his crimnal ways, he's not going to be stopped from getting a gun by some law that saays he can't have one.

In short, the law can harm one who is going straight, and useless against one who returns to his criminal ways.
