A former patrol officer of the Myrtle Point Police Department is in custody after being arrested for multiple sex crimes against a child...I'll bet he was.
Myrtle Point police officials did not want to talk about the accusations, or charges, but they did say Barnett was friendly to work with...

Yet another reason not to let children near guns.
They might be tempted to show Officer Friendly that they know what a Bad Touch is.
Thomas Jefferson wants to have a word with the offiver;
"Punishments I know are necessary, and I would provide them, strict and inflexible, but proportioned to the crime. Death might be inflicted for murder and perhaps for treason if you would take out of the description of treason all crimes which are not such in their nature. Rape, buggery &c. punish by castration". - Thomas Jefferson to Edmund Pendleton , Aug. 26. 1776. [Letters of Delegates to Congress: Volume 5.]
"Myrtle Point police officials did not want to talk about the accusations, or charges"
That's odd, they're usually so eager to tell the press everything about the people they accuse of crimes.
