We're the Only Ones Perjuring Enough

A former Shreveport police officer who was fired after he ran from the scene of an officer-involved shooting has been arrested on charges he lied during a court hearing for the man wounded by police.
WoG contributor Vinnie, who found this story for us observes:
Cop runs away, lies. Other one runs out of ammo. No info if another stooge was involved.
Not "stooges," Vinnie. "Only Ones."

It was worse than that. One officer who walked up to scene saw the gun and ran like a striped assed ape, another officers came up and put down the gunman.

So, of the three, two were cowards willing to let the woman be killed. Though the local news played the tape over and over for a week, they never mentioned a third officer nor identified either of the officers on the tape. One should have been cited for his bravery and duty, the first should have been identified for his failure, so that others, citizens and cops alike know he cannot be relied upon. But none of the three major newscasts in this area ever did./

This is the same department that shot a man in the back who held a cell phone. Even on the tape taken from 50 ft away and dispayed on small tv screen anyone could see it was a cell phone. The police were within arm's reach of him several times in the two or three minutes before they shot him because he wouldn't stop talking on the phone. They then claimed they thought the phone was a gun. Horseshit! But they got away with it.
