Dial 911 and...uh...Hello...?

Police Chief Joe Leonardi said dispatchers first reported a problem the morning of May 2, after discovering that emergency calls from Verizon customers had been rolling over to a 10-digit Police Department line.

But later that day, city officials say the 911 system failed completely, leaving them to question how many callers couldn't get through.

And it's not like it would do you any good in a self defense situation even if you could get through...

Citizens of America radio spot, obtained from the Wayback Machine Internet Archive. I need to figure out a way to get them stored on this site--that doesn't appear to be a Blogger feature.)

Thank you, dlawson--the ads are here

We always intended them to be free to any and all to download and use--so others should feel free to post them as well--the only caveat now being that since COA is no longer active, we don't want anyone sending contributions any more--but that was never much of a problem even when we were soliciting them.

Hey Dave, if you ever need hosting for the media, or a streaming source, www.esnips.com does rather well. 5 GB of space, and they stream audio. You can download from it, too, but I don't personally know how.
