If Mr. Kurtis chose the word "epidemic" for the copy, then we can make a guess what his position will be.
Incidents like that which occurred at VTech are not widespread, and aren't spreading rapidly. Considering the epidemic of bare-fisted defense zones, these incidents are still, thankfully, very rare.
I went to grade school in a series of bare-fisted defense zones. I wouldn't wish them upon any child, no matter how bad they are.
