Groom Raider: The Windy City

According to "Boots" a Brangelina security guard had to pull a gun on what certainly sounds like a crazy fan while the gang is in Chicago watching Jolie work.

In Chicago? Where are Jesse and Snuffy when you really need them?

How does a person who's not a Daley, a cop (or an alderman) get away with armed protection in Chicago?

Particularly one who disapproves of guns?

Private Investigators and Security
contractors can transport weapons
to and from work and carry legally
while on the job...

I guess that guy counts...

BTW, Chicago, while a nice city,
still sucks if you are, or want to
be, a gun owner...

In re private security carrying "legally," I know that's the way it is, Less. What I object to is me being "legally" forbidden from doing the same.

Agreed, hence my second posting...

I carried anyway in Chicago and when I disarmed a thug I got an Unlawful Use of a Weapon charge for my efforts as well as a rather unfriendly tour of Chicago jail facilities alongside the thug. Thankfully it was still a misdemeanor as it's felony now just to carry.

Better to be tried than carried but I lost a favorite carry gun and it cost me thousands of dollars before it was over. West of the Mississippi is a better place to be.
