Ooh, sorry, we're fresh out of that. Will you accept a heavy metal as a substitute?
Hardly an equitable settlement. What if I want to keep my health and my life. How do we decide that one?
Honestly, I grow tired of idiots who can't grasp the concept of equality that was supposed to be guaranteed by the government. (Hint: Equality has nothing to do with punitive taxation, or promotion based on sex and skin color.)

However, there will be no "demented avengers" among these sheep, as Roger Waters speculates. Even if there are, would we look back on the situation and judge that it was reckless of our rulers to push civilization to collapse in order to satisfy a bigotry that is practiced as a near-comical persecution of a symbol?
Or perhaps the weapon is a symbol for something else they fear: To be irrelevant.
That worked so well on the guys with box cutters.
